Re: transmision cooler debris ?

Well its kinda difficult to loose the reverse . A lot of burned clutch material might have harmed the seals and loose pressure. One thing for sure ...you need to clean everything. Also you need a new tc if the oil cooler is contaminated. Oil goes from tc to oil cooler and back to tranny. If the line is not clean , high pressure in the tc will cause it to fail (balloon) etc.
My advice is to rebuild it or have it rebuild by one of the few syty tranny builders
You got to use a new cooler also and an external filter

Re: transmision cooler debris ?

sorry for how long it took me to reply the message saying i had a reply to this thread got lost in my inbox... i have a new tc already a nice 3k stall : ) i already have the tranny apart but im not not seeing anything wrong so i dont know... im thinking some little port somewhere is plugged because all gears and seals seem to be in perfect shape and the tranny works fine other than that so if any1 has any ideas of where exactly to look id appreciate it this was a brand new upgraded tranny (about 2k miles are so) and worked fine till i put on the cooler so if any1 could give me a lil direction on where to look i would REALLY appreciate it i would hate to have to send it to a syty tranny builder considering how much money i spent to get this tranny if the first place
