Tranny or TCC? Audio inside...

I'm trying to figure out what's going on with my truck. It has a horrible shudder around 1500-2000 RPM in any foreward gear at 15-25 MPH. I can stick my foot in it and the shudder sort-of goes away at higher RPMs, but mashing the throttle can hide a lot of things. I tried the brake tap thing to see if it was a lockup issue, but it didn't stop shaking.

So here's what I did...

I jacked up the rear tires (propshaft is out getting rebalanced.), chocked the fronts, and stuck my video camera under the truck aiming at the tranny/TC area to see if I could see/hear anything wierd. I only found a couple things...

- Truck shudders under load only. I went all the way to 70 with no vibration.
- My rear wheels turn to 10 mph with the truck in neutral.
- Funny sound right when I shut the truck off. Don't know if it's normal, but have a listen below...

Almost sounds like the pinion on the starter is lazy letting go and is dragging. The only thing spining in park is the flywheel and torque converter. Unbolt the torque converter from the flywheel and push the converter back into the trans. Start the engine. See if it continues. If it does, at least you've ruled out the converter. Look at the teeth on the flywheel and see if they are chewed up or have a chunk missing. Seemed like I saw on here where someone had flywheel bolts back out and mess some things up.
