Tranny cooler on Typhoons?

I did some searches and came up with a lot of information about tranny coolers, but all seemed to be geared around Syclones.

Does anyone have any pics of coolers mounted on a Typhoon that are not in front of the radiator?? I'm needing to mount it underneath the truck.

Anyone have any pics and part numbers of what is good to use??

Thanks,

I started to mount one under the drivers side rear passenger area, but there is next to no room under there.

You see it more on the Syclones because under that bed there is a lot of real estate to mount stuff.

Get yourself a cooler and crawl under the truck and see where it fits is the best I can tell you.
My setup was a Derale cooler with low profile fan mounted to it.
My fan would have been the lowest point under the frame.

Instead, I deleted my aux IC cooler and put a larger trans cooler up front.
Spraying alky really eliminates the need to have a bunch of extra CCHE coolers.

I've got one of the big B&M ones with the fan mounted under the passenger side on my ty. I'll see if i can dig up the pics here in a sec.

That would be great thanks.

BTW, did you not make it up to Phoenix this past weekend?? I still have a cable for you when you're ready.

I mounted mine on top of the tranny crossmember pass side. but then again I don't have an exhaust system either.

The filter is actually about 1/2" about the bottom of the crossmember, it just looks lower in the pics. I probably should have mounted it at an angle like I've seen other people do it, but with it mounted vertical, I won't make too much of a mess changing it. I still need to get a temp gauge.... Yeah I know.... But with the fan turning on at 160 degrees and back off at 140 via the temp switch, I can at least say it runs very seldom and when it does, its only for a few minutes at most.

If temps over the summer become a problem. I'm 100% sure I can add a second unit right behind this one (or maybe a unit with no fan this time).

That looks good to me. Thanks for the pics!

You happen to know the size and/or model # of that cooler??

Also what's the deal with your filter??

As for the filter, I meant to say its about 1/2 "above" the crossmember. I suppose if something on the road kicked up and punctured a hole in it, I'd be in a bit of trouble. I haven't seen any kind of damage so far though. I'll make a sheild for it later if it seems necessary.
