went to the track for test and tune sat. had a new best time 7.98@84.3 !!!! it is a 1/8th mile track. 60'was a little slow at 1.84 could not leave at more than 4psi got to work and did some checking and found that the adjuster on the driver side was locked up :evil: so while I was at it I put bigger shoes on I was going to do the 7/8" wheel silnders but looks like you have to do some drilling not sure I am ready for that we will see if the bigger shoes make any diference I hope so

why could you not leave with more? spinning? wouldnt hold?

Jerry! Just my eyes wrong or is this truck still using the stock IC? If yes, that could be the first stock IC truck in the 10's... Nice.

Hi Guys,,the truck belongs to Jeff Dennis ,,the top pics were at the track when he ran the times this labor day weekend,,the bottom pics were old ones...His present setup is Our super motor , stage three vortecs,atr headers, precision 63, dequick dual core .speedpro tuned by us and Brian Green,, one of our special trannys,,this truck is full weight ,air and all,, no light weight pieces,,stock wheels with nittos..take a look at www.tobefast.com

after I got back from the track Iworked on the brakes one of the adjusters was locked upso I fixed that and while I was at it I replaced the shoes with bigger ones we will see this weekend if I can get into the 1.6x range in the 60' :) by the way I do the syty launch

Hay, I went to the L.R. track sunday, thought I might get to see ya,
but it looks like you went on Sat. :fist:

oh well, that track?????????? i just dont know, what is it, other than to short, downhill, uphill does it lean to the left, is is straight, it looks crooked :drinking: oh well it beats nothing around here, i'm glad we finally got something less that 21/2 hours away.

going back sat the 14th track opens at 5 pm runs till 11 will see if the brakes will hold better :-? why dont you see if you can come down and watch going to let the wife pick on some folks I think she will enjoy it :D send me a pm if you can come

torgue that sucker up in front of the house, watch the gauge, just dont actually launch. Might as well find out before you get there.

since your doing this in front of the house just make sure no ones around if it holds and you really feel the need and cant wait to FEEL the result. :)
