I dropped my Ty off at the bodyshop on Monday.Been driving a new Mazda 6 since.

My impression of the car is blah.It's rice,I hate rice.

Anyway,today I am taking my 3 year old son to the babysitter,when out of the blue he says "This car is slow" :tdown:

:lol: I say "yeah,you like the Typhoon better?"

He smiled,nodded, and said 'Uh huh.When will it be fixed Daddy?"

What a great kid.

You trust the Mann Family so much you even make your own son walk around with a helmet on all day. Of course if he really is your kid, I don't blame you. Never know when he could walk into a deer and need that helmet.

I've been telling my three year old about my truck since he could talk (it's been in the shop for two+ years now). He keeps asking when Daddy's "Race Truck" is going to be ready.

I've been telling my three year old about my truck since he could talk (it's been in the shop for two+ years now). He keeps asking when Daddy's "Race Truck" is going to be ready.

When will it be ready ?

IWhen will it be fixed Daddy?

I get asked that every week from my 6 (almost 7) year old boy.

He almost passed out from me doing a 10lb launch with him one day.

Hey, he wanted to feel what it does at the track.. OK.

I love this thread. My son does a similar thing. While putting the car seat in the back, he says, "I got to head on because this thing is fast!". This is while his hands are holding on to the car seats sides.

My son has seen the turbo out of my buick but I am not sure he can mimic the sounds... I have some work to do.

This is an awesome post!! My son will be three soon, and I haven't had time to finish getting my Ty back on the road, so he has yet to ride in it. However, I have an '05 GMC Sierra with an STS kit and a TiaL wastegate. His car seat is on the passenger side (crew cab) and he LOVES the sound it makes either under boost or when I lift off the throttle!! He laughs his ass off and then tells me "do it again daddy"!!! I have thought about trying to keep my Ty together long enough to maybe give it to him someday. And no, not to teach him about mechanics or frustration either! Again, awesome post!!

I heard about you laying down some tile this summer,whilst somebody else was laying down wood.
