NHSTE - I'm the only one!
Well, apparently no one wants a GT these days.

At this point, I think I might just part the truck out. Hate to hack a perfectly good SoGT, but I can probably make more of my money back that way. I can't even get $4k for the truck.

What do you guys think?

First, please don't take this personal but pics say alot. I would not try to sell a truck which needed vacuumed OR had the headliner sagging in the photo's. The truck would sell better IMO if it had graphics on it ($75).

On a side note, I know you probably put lots of money into it BUT I bought a MINT prototype SGT with well under 100,000 miles and all documentation for $6,000 cash. I bought another wrecked one to part and the real money pieces (cladding) are still in the top of my garage so don't part it. My guess is you might get $2,500-3000 going that route and it requires alot of time, packaging, follow-up and trips to the shipping center. The market and economy stink. $4,000 is sadly a real good price right now.

I have seen the pics of your truck, and you did a nice job on it. I would not part it, but get a few things fixed (check engine light, and all the "little"items") so that instead of having a truck that you spent 9k on, and you will get 4k on because new owner might not be able to get it inspected in new state. Spend a couple 100 bucks, and take clean nice pics of it. (The pics on ebay show a dirty interior, and dirty exterior). And see what happens. A truck like that (with teh T-5)- cool idea! Will sale, but you should prep it correctly in the pics to sale. Right now it looks like a 2k$ s-15 truck that sits too high with some ground effects on it. Put the stock wheels on it, correct decals, fix the problems, and clean it, and I bet you get 6k for it.(my 2 cents)
You did a great job building that truck, now- show it off!

You're not the only one in the NO SALE boat. My Ty has been on ebay twice, autotrader for months and craigslist. The highest bid was 4,000 bucks. I'm contemplating driving to Pigeon Forge for one day in hopes of a sale Saturday. I really need to sell but with the economy in sad shape I'm wondering if it will ever come.

keep it whole, as my father said when we had the dealership "there's an ass for every seat". personally if i was so broke i'd love to buy it for my dd.

That's just about what I'm looking for in a Ty. High mileage, stock, runs decent, clean, with a few stories behind it. Like everyone else in the world...wish I had money to hand you, because that's a nice truck for someone like me.

Your best bet would be to keep it for 20-30 years and then maybe get $12k for it when it is uber rare and a new 2035 Chevy Colorado/S10 costs $72k.

I would hold out and market it better like was said above.
That is a VERY clean truck and the work is excellent.

i was interested in it for a DD but its too much $$ for me to justify making a beater out of it.

If it were all factory correct, wheels, decals, clean bill of health I think you'd get a lot more hits.

Time is on your side here.
Once we get past Nov the economy should get better... I hope... guess it depends which jackass wins the popularity contest.
