Throttle Body Plates/Emblems - Options?

Have seen quite a few of those nice plates/badges that go on top of the throttle body. I think Lingenfelter and TPIS make them. Does anyone have these with something Sy/Ty specific engraved or painted on them? I don't have anything particular in mind, but a nice polished aluminum plate on top of the TB would dress things up nicely. If you've got one of these, please post some pics and mention where you got it.

ive been looking for some time and no one seems to know where they got theirs, or they made it.

Exactly, something like that would be cool. I think Robert (MrSyclone) has one on his truck that says 800HP if I remember correctly. Tom Dowd has a custom plate as well, but I can't remember what. I just want to replace that nasty tarnished plate on my TB. Would be nice to dress up the motor a bit more. Hopefully, someone can post some options. I'll keep an eye on eBay.

Hi guys, I might be able to do something like you are talking about. I've been working on a couple machineing projects for my TY. Designing wheel center caps with the TYPHOON lettering in center in the place of the GMC. I had been thinking about throttle body plates too. I've just been so busy at work this summer I haven't had much spare programming or machine time to devote to this. What would you want on the t/b plates? SYCLONE, TYPHOON, what else? Let me know what you are thinking, and maybe I'll be able to get this going over the winter.

i wanted TY1167 or TYPHOON with #1167 under it. or the numbers from the dyno this coming wed.

I don't think I would have any trouble making a plate like you have, but I don't think I could offer the free truck with it! ;)

I'll try to get to work on this next week, and if I can figure out how to, I'll post some cad drawings, or solid model pics. If I can convert them to a format I can post.

I made the one that Renz has pictured.
If i get a decent amount of request for plates that say Syclone or Typhoon with your truck number i'll look into doing them.
A polished one would be $60 or i can do a brushed one for $50.

I'm going to try to make a carbon fiber one with the Typhoon logo embedded in it. :)

They could be chromed by an local plating shop.
I could check into it if there's enough interest in chrome.

Right now i've only gotten emails from 2 people, so email me if you want one.
