Thinking about selling

I was thinking about selling my 92' typhoon with 170k on it. I've owned it since the middle of the summer. Since owning the ty, I had the motor rebuilt and only have put on a few hundred miles. Recently I've been having issues with low oil pressure and a knock in the motor. Its to the point now that I'm so frustrated that I want to sell it. who rebuilt the motor? any warrenty with it since it has been rebuilt so recent?

It was a guy I met threw a friend of mine. He didn't offer any warranty, and he is avoiding me and my phone calls. I can't afford getting the motor fixed right. So its either going to sit in my garage taking up space, or sell it to someone that knows these vehicles. Its a tough call for me..

That sucks. You know, when it comes to these vehicles, it is good to give them to a repair person who knows them. They are tempermental! Good luck with everything. WHat are you looking for it? Does it still spool?

I'm looking to get what I owe on it and yes, it still spools. The body is in pretty good condition. There are a couple of small rust spots on the ty, I'll put some pictures on http://s1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa386/srocket24/ of the trouble spots on the body.

Great. What does that mean? Are we supposed to guess? :dunno:

Broken engine? 170k on body? $4,500...maybe.

Did you look into the problem yet at all? check the oil pump pickup etc?

I would guess in the 4k range as well

It is a red/gray. That should easily add $500 to $1000 to the sale price.

I have an engine with what I was told around 60k miles on it if you are interested. I dont live to far away.

but its a 92, so thats -$1000 easily.

I owe a little over 4k on it. I haven't looked to much into the problem yet, but I did notice that my coolant is really low considering the fact I filled everything up after the rebuild. So I assume now that that the gray coloration in the oil is from the coolant.

Dam don't drive it you will do way more damage your assumption is correct.

Its been parked since the issue started occurring. The only way its going anywhere is either if someone buys it and tows it away, or I have it towed to a shop. Otherwise its just going to sit in the garage and take up much needed space.
