As some of you know I'm trying to track down the trucks on the island, so I'm asking several people who may lead me to some trucks. Well, someone a message board told me where I could find one and today I went there...
It was at a ford dealership. When I got there I looked at the showroom, but saw no truck. Well, I asked one of the guys that worked there and he told me that the truck was not for sale and it was at a garage at the back of the dealership. He told me that it was property of the dealer's owner and he was kind enough to show me the truck even when the owner wasn't there(he saw I had a sy too 8) ). As I'm heading towards the back of the dealership I saw this nice garace completely closed. He opened the garage and I felt this breeze of cold air hit me in the face... It had air conditioning. I immediately saw a couple of cars covered in car covers.
One was a GNX, YES GNX it was standing on jackstands and covered with a car cover(the guy told me it was a GNX and the wheels atleast were from a GNX) There was also an old stang and the other cars I couldn't identify. I then saw 4 sy rims lying next to a chunky box covered. I lifted the cover a bit and IT WAS FLAWLESS. It was sitting on jackstands and I took a look beneath it and it was flawless too IT looked like it had came right out of the showroom. IT HAD NO RUST BENEATH IT
I couldn't take a look at the interiors or the vin, but the guy told me it had LESS THAN 3K MILES
I asked him if it was for sale and he told me that it wasn't several people had come to make an offer and he always said NO, this will be my grandson's 18th birthday present... The thing is his grandson is only 4yrs old :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking:
