Re: Thanks!

yea i made a very last second decision to show up....i could have made it there by like 2pm had i realized how "close" i was / looked it up ahead of time.

I was on my way from harrisburg to state college and decided to fire up the gps to see how long it would take - "Estimated Arrival Time: 3:20pm" ...hmm....cut across 3 lanes of highway to make the ramp to head towards NJ.

So to recap my day....awake at 5:45am, run 26 miles at 8:30am, drive 2ish hours to Maple Shade, spend 1.5hrs at hooters, drive to philly for dinner with friends, leave philly around 7:50pm, get in bed at home by 11:30pm. Was a nice long day...but wouldn't change a single minute of it. Well aside from the clutch in my sti slipping under boost and not keeping up with that mustang on 38 near hooters. :rotf:

Nice.

To me, Hooters NJ and Mike Renz are synonymous so I'm glad you made it. It was almost 10 years ago that I attended my first Hooters NJ meet. I didn't have a truck yet but a dude came up and introduced himself to me and we chatted for a bit. I thought "Hmmm...pretty nice group...I oughta get serious about getting a truck." The dude? Mike Renz. . And within a few months I had a Syclone. Glad to still be a part of this group.

i think the first time i met you, was at hooters, but you had your sy. You were the first one to get there, i was the second. That's how i remember it. Circa 2006 or so.

Although your version of skipping through the fields towards each other into a diving embrace is nice too.

:rotf: Thought it might've been too sappy for this crowd. My point is that this crowd is actually very welcoming of newbies so I hope if there were any yesterday, they were greeted as I was 7-8 years ago.

Want to thank Steve, Jeff and the rest of the crew that helped out. I had a great time and thanks ALOT for all your hard work and dedication. I also agree finding a new place next time. It took almost an hour for wings, fries and a soda....HAHA

I also want to send out a special thanks to Big Mike and Keith for giving me a hand with the ultimate chip and going over a few things with datamaster.

It was great seeing everyone!!!! :D

Re: Thanks!

Anyone else break on the way home? I lost a bearing in the ranger in CT drove, 4 hours and parked. Must have been so hot it kept spinning, but the next morning it was just about frozen solid...

Anyone else break on the way home? ...

my hydroboost feed line was laying on the crossover, and my reservoir was near empty. Which explained my reduced braking ability. I gotta put another line on it and reroute it some other way.
