As some of you may know, my son George and I recently purchased a Syclone. Although I have been a car guy all of my life (57 years) I have never owned anything like this Syclone. Soon after we bought it, I saw an article online talking about a gathering of SyTys at the Carlisle Truck Nationals. We thought it would be fun to go out to Carlisle and learn as much as we could. When we got there, all of the SyTy guys treated us like we belonged there. It was a great experience. While there, we asked around about a mechanic in the Southern California area who would be willing to work on our truck. The name that kept coming up was DaveP. I was warned that I might have a hard time getting to him but we were told he knew his stuff. So I started reading his posts here and realized just how knowledgeable he really is. I eventually got in touch with Dave and he agreed to look at out truck. We talked about how George and I wanted to keep the truck pretty stock. We left our Syclone with Dave. He's had the truck on two different occasions. I can't tell you how much work he did on the truck ( it includes replacing the motor mounts). We just got it back the other day. The truck is spotless. It runs great and it's fast as Hell. If you haven't met DaveP, the guy is a genius. Not just about SyTys but he's also an NCRS judge. If you read this Dave, thank you. We are grateful.
