For the wonderfully rust that you have blessed all over my truck, especially on 99% of the bolts to remove the exhaust manifolds and turbo. And to try to remove the dp, forget about it, its rusted on and I couldnt find my dremmel so had to hammer it a little so I can move it out the way.

he just likes to bitch about stupid things.

he should have bought a truck from another state if he was gonna cry about it this much

Thats why i bought mine from Texas.
Granted it still came with inherent problems, but EVERY used vehicle is gonna have issues.

Unless the seller blatantly tells you this truck is perfect in every aspect and mint condition throughout then its buyer beware.

I still find things that previous owners have half assed, its part of fixing it once and fixing it right.

Hahahaha your a funny character, only reason I posted was because the rust fused the clamp that holds the dp to the cat. I knew what I was expecting but not this much.

everytime you do something new to your truck you post about either rust, new jersey, or driving sytys in the winter. We get the point, get over it.

Sorry dude but check carfax. The truck is a from Maryland, spent most of it's life in mid state Pennsylvania and then NJ. I've told you before the truck had most of that rust when I bought it. You got a killer deal on a 80000 mile truck but now it's time to pay. It's been said a hundred times over. These trucks are not cheap or easy. Some people actually bought these trucks to drive. So stop bashing NJ. I could say a few things about florida too.

Even if that clamp came off easily, the factory cat won't come off with out a torch.

If getting that clamp off is that big of a problem for you, sell the truck now. Wait until you have to swap a motor.

I think this is being a little overdone. He busted butt to get a part off that was rusty and crusty. He needs to vent off the difficulty. Some guys cuss or hollar when they get it off. he chooses to post on his success, probably to the few people who can relate. I am sure that when I get to pull my turbo off I will be celebrating too. Just cause you may have performed 103 turbo swaps in your life, or and R and R a trans in 22.5 minutes doesn't mean the rest of us can. Let him celebrate his success, even if it seems like a little bitchin'

To replace the wonderful cracked manifold I have.....

let me know how you get the replacement on...i'm dealing with that tonight...they shrink when you take them off...some people stretch them and others put them in the oven...i have a set of kb headers that are for sale if you decide to give up on the stock manifolds

good job. I had to use a 5lb sledge to get my exhaust off the first time. Remember COPPER antisieze is your best friend. It gets easier the second time around trust me.
