SYCLONE with or without DECALS?! ---

My Syclone just got out of the shop....and to ME it seems A LOT cleaner without the decals; but I get a lot less looks this way too.

They didnt replace the decals because they said the paints needs about 30 days to "cure". Cool ... no biggie. It used to say SYCLONE on the left, then on the right " GMC TRUCK , then under that MOTORSPORTS ". Looks so clean without, but I got A LOT more looks with them on , lol. ---

Without the Syclone decals, it's just a modded S10. IMO. :2cents:

My truck was decal free from the day it was new... I kept it that way for about 6 months after I finished the rebuild, but in the end I decided I liked it better with... I just moved them from the stock location a bit :lol:

LOL you guys are so funny,,,,I understand BOTH ways. I enjoy the decals because like I said " I get a lot more attention" ... but being CLEAN also shows me its fun to pick fights I can win,lol ---

You gotta put the decals on so others know what just smoked them.....otherwise it is just quick S-10 with a body kit.

I prefer decals on but i also don't think it takes anything away from the look with them off.

I like it both ways. It's not permanent, so you can always add or remove when you want.

When I first bought mine its was without decals. I liked it that way for awhile, but then I wanted to change up the look so I added decals.

You guys just had tears running down my face. Someone pm'd me saying " its just an $800 s10 without the decals" , and honestly thats how I felt driving home from the body shop....too funny ---

i like the de-badges look myself. have you consider going stealth & getting (flat)black badges?

Dang it! That's what I had planned on doing when I get the truck painted, only it would be gloss black emblems with a outline of red around the letters....that way my truck would be all blacked out except for the Bright Red Corvette brake calipers and the emblems.... :tup:

i like the de-badges look myself. have you consider going stealth & getting (flat)black badges?

i like it with just the windshield and side ones on it, doesnt need the tailgate sticker , well i guess im biased thats how mine is

the only syclone decals on mine are the the ones on the doors, the tailgate is just like yours, i like it cause guys nobody around here knows what their in for

i say since u have new decals just drive around with the back clean like it is now and if you dont like it you can always put them back on

I just spent several hours getting mine off. I guess 17 year old glue will do that. I like both. My truck is lowered w 18" wheels so I dig the stealth look. The upside is now I dont have to explain what a "syclone" is whenever i pull up in a public place.
I also street race and have drag radials on the back wheels. Its a pisser when 2wd cars want to race from a dead stop cuz they think its just an s10 pickup w no traction.

Id love to see some black stickers if someone has them

Don't need the tailgate sticker?!?!?! If anything that would be the only one I would have so the person will know what just smoked them :rotf:

My thoughts are to put them on. It completes the look and like others said, it's just an S10 with a body kit w/o them.

I say put the Syclone decals on, but leave the stupid GMC Truck off... The black decals sound pretty cool too!
