It would have been even cooler if the front bumper cladding was misaligned. :rotf:

I was contacted back at the beginning of May by Microsoft Game Studios to have my Typhoon Digitally photo'd to be put into the game but we could never make it happen. Also because it wasn't 100% stock (louvered hood and z06 rims) it was going to be a long shot to get it in. Since they were doing a Syclone, they would probably be able to use those items from it so it would be stock looking in the game.


I wish I could have made it happen for you guys. Would have been nice to have it in the game. Here is an e-mail I received from them.

Xbox is looking to photograph a 1993 GMC Typhoon for 3D modeling purposing. If all goes well the car may end up in a racing simulator! For helping with the photo shoot I will can provide you a copy of our previous racing title and add you to the credits of the future game – as well as a copy of that game.

The photo shoot process is fairly simple. If this interest you let me know and I will send you more details on the photo shoot process.

Also, this is happening today, and I've been really looking forward to it. I bought an fixed an xbox360 to play with, I had to fix the ethernet port to get it on live. I am buying a new monitor tonight because my tv and current one sucks. I will also be getting a vga switch so I can hook both up (couldn't get an hdmi xbox cheap enough).

I played the demo and it was awesome, the overal handling feels awesome, and the way the motors are making power feels better than before. From what I read there is a new drag radial availible so that you can hook, and the ability to set a car up to wheelstand is achievable. On older cars you can take off metal bumpers and add working cowl hoods as well as other functional body mods. If the game permits it, Im sure me and my friends will have an outlaw rwd 10 inch slick class that will be run.

Also, I will have one syclone for every class.
