A metal version of the Vortec covers (taller of course) wold be pretty sweet too.
So all this time and money and hard work and the stock brakes huh?
Who needs brakes, they just slow you down :rotf:
Yea I'll have to address those later, didn't think I was going to go this far. Hindsight I would have splayed the main caps also, but oh well, it is what it is.
Super nice!!!! You making any more???
Everything is picture perfect and looks great. What are your plans to keep the plug wires from melting by the manifolds?
I'm curious why you welded the push-rod plates?
They are two piece adjustable and once you get them set you need to tack weld them to keep them from moving, if not they can twist while tightening.
I really like the wrinkle paint. How much time do you have drawing all this out on the computer? Did you recover all the aluminum scraps from the valve covers?
I love your work. That looks amazing.
How much would a set of reverse engineered Vortec valve covers with a 1/2" spacer built in cost? Based on the plastic ones but a little deeper for roller rockers?
As many have said, very nice work. I have been thinking of a way that I can run an external waste gate on my GT35R and stock manifolds, but I just don't see how I have enough room with the A/C, inner fenders, ATA piping, etc. I will be interested to see how your setup fits in the truck.
