I replaced the carpet and put the interior together now. I also made this so the stock motor mounts wont take such a beating. I know that in the past people have broken the alternator bracket doing this but i think it will hold better when i put the tiedown in the front of the bracket instead of the rear, notice also that i have the support bracket in the rear of the alternator bolted in place. Time will tell if this will hold.
The bolts for the steeringbox was long enough to bolt the bracket on it. The big washer on the bolt is behind the bracket to compensate for the space behind the bracket and the frame.
My new ALDL connector under the glovbox, easier to access and maybe i get rid of the DM error now with a new location and wiring.
Still waiting for my 12cm housing with a 34mm flapper, should recive it in a couple of weeks. If i only could find a 20G for a really good price? And i mean i really good price, like almost free
