Had my Sy seats recovered in leather. Attempting to reinstall. Both seats are not locking in the back position, they can be tipped forward without using the small lever on the back of seats. I know the apholsterer removed the hinges. Even after removing the hinges myself and operating them independent of the seat, they do not seam to want to positively lock in the back position. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Any ideas?
Also, can someone descrige how the seats on the Sys operate. Do the seat backs only lock in one position or are they adjustable to a few positions using the lever? I also assume they should only tip forward to access the area behind the seats if the lever is engaged?
