surge under freeway boost

stock ty boosts off the line fine but from 50mph
on free way when i floor it the boost builds then drops off builds drops off etc
stock boost gauge flutuates as dose rev counter but revs not doing the same any clues please? mike

.well if you are not in 3rd and are in od it will overboost.
howeverone thing i am certain about is everyone will tell you to get a laptop and scan it for more info

tried it this morning on the way home and boosts ok from stand or slow it's been on freeway
in o/d when it drops down dosnt seem so bad if you don,t boot it in to drop down and it picks up in that gear (sort of babying it really)

had a buddy check it out and found the plug leads bracking down and arking out under heavy
loads got to admit these things and still smooth on 5 cylinders i didn't pick it up
to used to 4 bangers i guess
