Re: STRANGE syclone

Horrible paint job but I actually dig the convert conversion. I've seen soft top conversion in the past that were ugly, but this one works.

Truck 0830 for the record.

In the early 90s Before I opened my own shop I worked for a place called Auto Images they were located in Cherry Hill NJ. We must of done some work on it I remember it being on our showroom floor for several weeks. From what I can recall the paint job was done very well. I don't care for the design myself but at least it was done well. At the time it only had a few thousand miles. I'm thinking some time around 1993.
There fore it spent some time in south jersey.

Should have just bought a Dodge. My neighbor up the street has one of these:

Re: STRANGE syclone

It's not that bad. ...at least it's not a hack job....imo....The paint choice could've been left alone. I'd roll it...in all honesty how many hard top typhoons have you seen that was done right? I've never seen one...with the exception of the Marlboro syclones and they were t-tops as far as I can remember.

Huh, I never realized that was anything other than a black paint job in that pic. Looks like a reflection unless you are looking for it.

Re: STRANGE syclone

The color in the eBay listing caught my eye. I was not sure what it was at first. I thought about the brochure truck that I have seen in paper documents which appears to be a green? Forest? In the syclone info some where there is a green syclone with argent cladding. What I first thought the truck was. Than I seen it with its top off and I thought about this chop-top ty-zilla I saw in a pic as well once. Its funny because I almost made the comment about " how it must be a west coast thing" and seeing Jimmy's post the original owner was a stones throw away just down in bensalem at one point.

Personally,I'd give Dave mad props. Back in the day his truck was THE baddest mother****ing truck on the planet. Dude had the $ to buy some stupid turbo AWD Sonoma, and he made it into everything that he wanted it to be.

You do have a valid point Jimmy, but some people see differently.

I am not trying to walk on anyone's toes. That's why I said to each their own.
