someone broke into our shop and stole my dad's 1972 SS El Camino. 454 w/ 4 speed all matching numbers. The car is white with blue stripes and the dash is out of the car. the hole in the floor has been modified to fit a hurst shifter. The motor and trans are in the car, but it doesn't run. The outside is in need of paint, but my dad had painted the motor and restored most everything under the hood. keep an eye out for it. this happened in the Snyder area (1 hour west of Abilene). please pass this information onto any car clubs anyone is a member of. thanks.

Damn that sucks. I hate low life crooks! I hope it's found. I would think it would be easier to find a rare older vehicle than say a honda or toyota.

Sounds like they knew it was there, and brought a trailer or tow truck. sorry to hear about his stuff people seem to lack more and more respect for others everyday.

Dang, sorry to hear... A co worker in San Antonio lost his Chevelle and never saw it again. There are some very well organized rings in Texas. Hope the cops get lucky in your case, and soon!
