Re: State Farm Insurance Issues...

Hi Guys,
Just my 2 cents I have Grundy I pay $320.00 unlimnited mileage, I have an agreed value of $20,000.00, I had Hagerty but they hit me $510.00 and there was a deductable. The only catchis you must have daily drivers for each person that are living at the address the collector truck or car states on the policy and you must keep it garaged and not leave unattended when you are driving it, they figure it is an investment and you will take very good care of it.

This may help some but not everyone.

I have Allstate and a stated replacement value of $20,000. But like Warm says...there are many collector car policys oiut there. Goto any car show and they will be handing out flyers

I have State Farm. Both this and prior Tys were listed as Jimmys. They paid off on 'market value' when my 1st Ty drowned. The had some trouble establishing 'market value' (no local comparable vehicle sales in the prior 12 months), but ended up using the old SyTy.org 'for sale' page. I was happy with the settlement.

It's weird that they label them as Jimmys in Texas. I've heard that before though. I work for State Farm in California and Syclones and Typhoons are rated as such. I called a friend of ours that works for State Farm in Texas and they said that there was no listing for them. :?
