Re: Speedometer

check all the connections at the drac box bolted to the back of the ecm. you need to get this fixed, it could lead to major TCC problems and then to early transmission death.

Re: Speedometer

Theres also the connection on the back of the gauge cluster. If its not completely seated it will cause intermittent funtioning of the cluster itself. :2cents:

Check ECM for code 24. If there is a problem with VSS, DRAC, or other wiring up to DRAC, a 24 should set. If no 24, probably in the cluster or blue/blk wire to cluster from DRAC.

so I have this blue/black wire hanging freely under the dash.. I've been trying to figure out exactly what it does, from the previous post it sounds like it sends a signal to the ecm telling it to flash the ses light.. telling me my drac is sol..

i've never seen my ses light come on, anyone think this wire could be the cause?
