Hi guys, My have a SMC Alcohol Injection Kit and my pump just died after like 8 years. Is this company still around? I cant find there web page online. Can anyone help me out here?

They went out of buisness a long time ago, i also have a smc kit that i just bought not to long ago. From what i can see the pump is just a fuel pump from like an older cavalier with a hose that comes up to the top of the bottle to the fitting an to the braided line. I would believe any older GM fuel pump would work. What i would do is see how much voltage is given to the pump wire an also find out the ohm's it pulls an then match that with a pump

Harbor Freight sells an electric pump/sprayer that looks identical to the one used with the SMC kit. It has the same mounting tabs also. It might be worth looking into.

Well the truck has been stored and not driven for the last 1 1/2 years. All it needs is a little cleaning up a new battery and akly pump. I been busy fishing from my kayak doing triathlons and I also got married.
I really did not want to have to mess with getting that pump out. I was really hoping to just send it in and have them fix it.
So what you been up to? You still have your truck? I did not expect to see you around here anymore.

Did you marry Jenelle (sp?) Good for you man! Glad to see your doing well. I still have my truck. Been through a few others over the years too. If your ever up in the Cleveland area, hit me up! You should hit Homecoming in Michigan this year. Its a huge meet usually close to Detroit that gets around 40-50 trucks usually. Its a good time!

Thanks Nolan. Did you notice any difference in pressure? Did you have re-tune at all? I will order one. Anything I need to know about replacing it? Any tips?

Well I got that pump you posted Nolan and it is not even close to the factory pump. I did manage to get the old one out. The Factory pump number is E8248.

Well I got the new pump in but now I dont remember what wire connects to what wire. Can anyone tell me if the white and black wire go on the top or does the blue wire go on top?
