Bring some long sleeves and pants, but we ought to have some killer track weather. Looking good!

Re: Shindig Weather

Makes me want to reconsider. I moved to South Florida to get away from that. I've seen snow twice since 1986 and only been in weather that cold once since then.

My ass. Look at it.
Re: Shindig Weather

Looks pleasant! About the same temperature as it's been here, but with about 50000X the humidity:rotf:

Brian, what's that run a can in NC? Can you obtain and bring me one if it is cheaper than TN prices?

I still have to pick up some methanol. I can pick up some C16 if you need it. Here it is $70.00 for a 5 gallon can. I don't know if that is a good price or not, since I don't use it. Let me know if you need some unless Brian can get it cheaper. Lee

Lee, thanks for the offer to assist. I gotta head back around 3-4 PM Saturday, and since the DR event slid to the right by a day, I won't require any. I can wreak some havoc on the auto-X with 93 octane fuel ;)

Yeah man, I hear ya but at least your odds dramatically improve on winning a trophy now (heehee).

Picked up the Syclone yesterday and the 4L65E level 6 is an incredible change. Thought about leaving it loaded since it has coilovers, cal-tracs, HD sway bars, Baer's F/R, etc but like Brian, I don't wanna clip a cone with the Sy....it's wayyy to pretty. The Typhoon lived on a track so it's better suited for the abuse.

See you in a couple days.

Re: Shindig Weather

I'm going to be racing at South Georgia Motorsports Park this weekend, just drove through Savanna... Its too bad there are 2 $20k to win drag races this weekend otherwise I'd swing by and hang out. Left NJ this AM and I was hoping to leave the cold weather behind!

That sucks that you can stay longer on Saturday. I knew the drag change would affect you the most and really tried to make it happen Friday night. Really sorry that didn't work out. If there's any way to stay till Sat. night, please do man.

Love that track. We run down there 4-5 times a year, and (whether we know it or not) future GAST/FAST meets will be held there. There was even talk of holding the Shindig there this year, but Valdosta isn't as charming as Savannah and it woulda been (even more of) a haul for the people up North.
