When I search from my iPhone (ios4.x), the drop down menu (full mode, not mobile site) takes 3 goes.

It appears then disappears, I tap again then when I type it disappears again. I have to tap it again, third time and it works.

If I go to advanced or regular search, I get a white screen with an error message about memory allocation and 71 bytes. Here:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /home/sytynet/public_html/forums/search.php on line 1156

And Tapatalk doesn't work well with the forum at all...

Thats why when I search from my phone I hit advanced search.

I have a iPhone4. It doesn't work me on this site (full site) and most every other forum I have tried.

We're currently at vBulletin 3.7.3, from August '08. They've got 5.0.1 out now. I'm actually more surprised that it works decently on a smartphone than that there's a problem with Search.

I have an android, and I also just use advanced search. It is just easier

Mark I have the 4s and it does that also. I've just learned to deal with it.

I almost always use Google and just site:syty.net then whatever I'm searching for. I think I do that for all forums.
