I saw a white ty at the Woodburn dragstrip today, at least I think it was a ty. Same body kit and wheels but no typhoon stickers. Maybe the owner posts on here?

There's a black/grey(?) Typhoon w/ leather at Kompact Kar Korner in Lynnwood, WA. I saw it over the weekend, its on their website too. Hey there is also a very familiar looking Syclone with 40,000 miles on it, black with murals on the sides. I think have seen that truck in a picture at one of our gatherings up north in Everett, WA.84dime said:

I am in Portland, and have occasionally raced my Ty (Black/Black 1992 with chrome factory wheels) at both Woodburn and PIR. I knew John Shinn way back before I had my Ty (actually, before there were any SyTys) when I drag raced regularly. I had no idea that he had SyTys! Do you know if he is still racing? I didn't see him down there last time I raced Woodburn (Father's day this year). I'll probably take my Ty out a few more times while I'm putting my race car back together (trying to make the PIR team so I can race the bracket finals). Unfortunately it has been getting false knock, and now the IC pump has failed (new one on its way). I want to at least get it sorted out so it is back to the ETs it used to run (8.70's in the 1/8 in really bad conditions in North Carolina).
