LOL, so run with them out for weight reduction, more air flow, and easier mantience, got it!!

I ran my Ty without fender liners. It kept heat way way down. I plan on running it that way again after I get it running too. The only thing I am gonna change is put a cowl hood of sorts on so the hot air can rise out and the cool air can run in through the void created by not having fender liners. Kindof a thermo-dynamics thingy, hot air out the top and cool air in the bottom. (I may be on crack about this but I think it will work.

I was thinking the same thing, if you put on the cowl it will push the hot out and force the cold in, maybe were both on crack but it sounds good, in theory!

i've been running without the inner fenders in for about a year and a half now.. I don't drive in rain or snow anymore with the truck and avoid holes and dirt like the plague while driving.. I can say it helps vent the heat a ton better.. but I do have a 2inch cowl hood as well which may help or may not with this.. either way it's cake to get to the wastegate acucator and plug wires etc.. and when you pop the hood it looks wicked. Big negitive though.. would have to be dirt or dust through out the engine bay constantly if left out side all the time like mine.

The ram air one? If so yah that looks good!!! :tup:
I was thinking of doing the standard 2" cowl one, because I wanted to fiberglass a scoop right over my air filter, its on the pass. side. I dont know if i'll ever get that far though, maybe this winter, I want to paint the whole truck again. I was thinking of going fiberglass fenders also, i've got just about everything unbolted from the stock ones so it should work!!!
