Running rich and no power

Last year had a dead battery and installed a new one. The ty was parked about 6 months before that. Running very rich now and no power. Burns the eyes when its running in the shop. New cap and rotor new plugs and wires, new water temp sensor. Fuel pressure in good also a new map sensor 3 bar.. Now would this be a failed chip or ecm? Just want to drive it around a few events this summer. Picked up a holly hp and its going to be a next winter project. low impedance injectors chip is blue if that helps.

also a new map sensor 3 bar..
Was the old MAP a 3 Bar? You can't just pop in a 3 Bar MAP without changing the Calibration (PROM) at the same time. Putting a 3 Bar in a system calibrated for a 2 Bar will make it run rich. Like yours is doing. EDIT: No it won't. It will run lean.

Here are the injector drivers in my old fried ECM. I cannot recall how different the stock ones look, but low-impedance drivers would be soldered in place of the originals, so there would probably be some evidence of solder work on the board there.

If your truck was previously running well on low-impedance injectors, it means that someone installed the appropriate drivers at that time. When I swapped a stock ECM in my truck for testing (with low-impedance injectors), it ran very rich.

They look like little brake rectifiers timbo. I'm not 100% electronics, but I have dabbled.

Typhoon donkey- I believe when rich running condition occur the COOLANT TEMP sensor is wacked, and needs replacement, up by the front water jacket/radiator hose at front of engine to the left side slightly. Give it a try. I'd order a correct one from a dealership. There are 2. One for gauge on the clocks, and the other is a communicator to the computer. It's worth a shot.

If it has been parked that long, maybe you got injectos stuck open or your regulator isn't regulating too. Time to get your hands dirty.
