There is a Sy (claimed to be a "indy sy" :oops:) here in town at a hotrod shop. Side to have a 4-link suspension in the rear. And ran a 10.3. Owned by a lady up north. Bought it from her son who was into drugs and was planning on selling it to fun that habit. Or so it was said to me. Its been there a while.

Also said it has a problem with the motor. Sounds like a bad miss. I was thinking #3 piston if its a stock botom end. (course if it is I doubt it went 10.3's maybe 12.30's.) But might be worse. Claimed that the lady doesnt have the money to have it fixed(well, duh its at a hotrod shop.. lol).

I'm going to go look, or at least try and look at it tomorrow morning sometime if I'm not busy. Will make sure its a sy first and not just a s series with a turbo on it and all that jazz. Then get the number and maybe some more info on the truck as well as the owner.

Anyone know anyything on this rumor truck? (fla guys??)

News to me... and if it is an indy, it got an indy sticker package and not a real indy.

Well I went up there, and apparently they are closed. Its sitting outside under a car cover. Doesn't look lowered from stock. You can see the outline of the front bumper cover and its deff got the syty lines and you can see the fog lights when the cover gets blown up by the wind.

Guess ill try next week.

Stopped by there, and the dude that I talked to was a prick. Wanted nothing to do with talking about it.

And clearly knew nothing about it. Said its hot a turbo Buick motor in it. Said came orginally from NY, but he picked it up from Ky(which is where the owner is, and said he doesn't even call them nor want to because its just a headache). I asked for at least the last 4 of the vin so I could know the number, and he wouldn't even look at it or the paperwork when I asked.

Ill bug my buddies about it some more and see if they can actually get some creditable info on it.
