RPM intercooler question.....

Whats the deal with this cooler? Has anyone installed theres themselves and if so can it be installed with the ac compressor still in the truck and i hear u have to spin the turbo housing to have the pipes line up if thats true how would the actuator line up, or would u have to make a bracket or go external. Im sure the battery has to be replaced to a smaller one or relocated to the rear. Is there a way to install it without spinning the turbo so the exit side of the turbo is facing in towards the motor?

Thanks in advance Donny:tup:

Re: RPM intercooler question.....

IIRC, if you look up the description on the sytyperformance website, it does mention that the turbo needs to be re-clocked (requiring an actuator bracket) and you need a fan spacer to use the stock mechanical fan. Don't remember exactly if the battery needs to be moved or not.

Re: RPM intercooler question.....

Battery needs to be moved, the pipe from the throttle body runs right through there.

I have A RPM A2A yes you have to reclock the turbo, relocate the battery or small battery. Works with A/C. here are A couple pics.Bottom pipe can be A pain in the ass to get lined up right. If you need any more info I will be glad to help.
