Im looking for a 32 pin bus that plugs into the stock chip then into the ECU, where does a person get on of those? Or how does the romulator plug into the factory ECU? What parts do I need to make this all work? Thanks

Re: Romulator Help ASAP PLZ!

Number of ways:

#1 - desolder the eprom from a stock chip and solder in a 28 pin adapter (ZIF or not)
#2 - use a Hypertech carrier
#3 - use a Moates adapter (G3 set to 29C256 will act in pass-thru mode)

I personally prefer the modified stock chip route, but not everyone has the capability to make that a viable option. So, the easiest way would be to pick up a Moates adapter or a Hypertech carrier.

BTW, You stated 32 pin.......the romulator & autoprom are 28 pin, so some of my options (#1 & #2) are only possible with 28 pin setups (romulator, autoprom, 27C128, 29C256, 27SF512, etc.....). 32 pin chips (29F040, 27C020, 27C2001, etc....) will need to be used with the Moates adapter or an STG Ultimate carrier.

Moates adapter - available from Moates (.net)
Hypertech adapter - available from Hypertech (.com)

Or you could put up a WTB ad in the classifieds.
