once i get my ty running should i take it to him for a proper tuning or is it worth the nightmare to do it myself?

i'm sure there are many owners in your area that would be willing to help you tune your truck. this isn't a slam against rockford, but you could probably get some free help with it and learn in the process rather than paying for it and not knowing much more once it's done.

well be trying to fire it with the new cap thursday if parts show up. either way ill probably trailer her to you guy. i just want to know we put it together right. ill be calling soon. cars being assembled at getz's hod rod innovations in hampshire.

Bring me as complete a listing of the build as you can. Specifically the cam card, porting info on heads(if any) etc. That will help speed up the process.

opel did the rebuild, ive got the cam card here someplace, bored 030 over, mccoy stage 4, atr headers, atr exhaust, 137 a chip and stock injectors for now. heads are bone stock, which im regretting already. ill dig up the card and receipts from opel.

I was the unfortunate one to "open the can of worms" last time. I tried for months to get ahold of someone at RR. I had them do work for me in the past, and was very satisfied with their work. Is RR accepting clients again? and actually responding to EM or phone calls? Guy did excellent work on my TY, but for some reason was impossible to get ahold of last year when I needed help. So there my TY sits int he garage with a lovely brown car cover on it, awaiting the help of someone with "tuning knowlege". Is there anyone in the Madison/Wisconsin area who knows how to tune and is willing to lend a helping hand? I don't want to start another fight like last time!?!!??
