here´s a pic of the sy with the 20": http://web287.login-2.hoststar.at/PIC02428.jpg
I might step back to a 18"/19" combo next year with some wider tires.
In the meantime i´m working on an Airride suspension based on Mikes coil-over kit up front and a 4-link in the rear.As you can see on the pic my truck is in desperate need for some lowering

No offense, but that size of rims look's bad. 17"s ,,,,,,,,maybe 18"s are as big as anybody should go. I hate it when somebody totally kills the look of these trucks with big rims that have a tire with a sidewall of about 1". It just isn't right, these trucks were made in the USA. I know that I will probably offend some people but IMO you should'nt slam a SyTy or put rims on it that have NO sidewall for the tires. I know that I'm expressing my own opinion but the 17" with the 275's in front and 315s in the back is the best looking combo. I figure that I will get alot of people that disagree, but that is what I think.
But every person has their own thoughts.

Hey dirtdemon - I like the look of the larger wheels on your truck. I've been thinking about going for a larger wheel/tire combo recently since I've been unhappy with the way the clearcoat on the wheels wears and all the extra space in the wheel well. Overall, is your wheel/tire combo larger than stock? Did you need any spacers to get the offsets right?

the wheel itself should be the same size like stock, but the rims are 17" (mentioned up)
of course got the spacers for an s-10 blazer in the rear - so i's able to mount 4 identical rims (makes changing front to rear easier :rotf: )
