I got a plug in on the wifes typhoon that i have a question about.It is on the back firewall to the left of the distributor.There are 2 plug ins there.On her truck one has a relay attached to it the other does not. The one that doesn't has a yellow wire someone cu t and left taped up.It has the same end as the relay next to it but again no relay is this needed and if so for what...

I would guess that maybe someone did a poor job of hot-wiring the IC pump to run full time.... but that's just a guess without really seeing it.

I was just on syty archives and found it is for the intercooler pump relay.Which does not have a relay plugged in and the yellow wire is cut and not grounded one bit.Maybe it don't even have a ic pump .I know this much the intercooler is by the front bumper lower center of it.Iwill get pics of this all tommorrow...WyoSyclone said:A pic would help us help you

well I looked under the front bumper of the ty today,has a front mount ic with NO I/C pump or wiring to it.So do i just solder the yellow wire back together or just leave it.I am on the right track with the running issues.Finally got a code ,for the 02 so i threw a new one in truck runs 10x better.Now just to get the rest of the bugs out.I wish I could find the guy that had this truck before the guy i bought it from and find out more on this thing.But I guess I will just keep learning more and more every day,and wonder wtf was he thinking... I know it came from west virginia about 6 months ago and that's about all right now.
