Rebuilt turbo makin noise

Hey guys. Bought this turbo on here. From a board member was suppose to be new. After taking it apart found out that it was once rebuilt before, and the bearing blew again. Now I had it rebuilt again. And it makes A noise like a loud hum.
And the fan don't spin at idle. Although it spins free and nice when truck is not running. Also when I go to give boost It stops at 0 then jumps upto like 10+ but makes that noise still.

Anyone know what the deal could be?
Bearings to tight?

Sounds like it could be bearings to me. Clearences aren't correct, possibly. Who rebuilt it? Have you talked to them about your options?

Can you get the noise on vid and put it on youtube?

If you spin the compressor by hand, it spins good? Is a ball bearing turbo or a journal bearing? I'm assuming journal bearing since most companies won't rebuild ball bearing. How is the play in the shaft?

Pull it apart and take a look at it. If its like the stock turbo internals, they might have put a piece together backwards or it might be the wrong piece. Search YouTube for videos on how to rebuild a td06. It's not hard at all.

Also, make sure that your turbo oil feed line it providing proper oiling. For the turbo to be eating up bearings so often, its either not being rebuilt properly, or the bearings are failing due to oil starvation. HTH
