Rear bumber cladding support... Does it curve inward?

I just noticed my rear support isn't straight. Infact it is quite gay.. If I sight from taillight to taillight across the six drilled holes on top it has a gentle inward curve (like a rainbow) :rainbow: towards the bed. I dont know if this is how it should be or if some previous owner rearended something. Has anyone noticed this? or should I pound it back into submission making it straight once again??

Seriously

should be straight or have a slight curve outward, inward means someone bumped into something.

What the hell did I write last night?

Yeah thats what I thought. It didnt make sense that it had an inward curve. I just finished painting the rear bumper and I didnt see any point of impact so I was curious. It may have been from when the hole was cut out of the support to put the hitch through.
