Last night UPS came over for a visit, and left me some 1990 ZR-1 wheels for the Ty. These wheels are AWESOME ! These wheels have been restored, and are in almost perfect condition. I would like to thank everyone I talked to about the fitting these wheels. I only put on the pass. side, because they will be taken off in a couple of days. They will be reinstalled once the other projects are completed , and the truck is on the road. I will post more pics, butI am having a problem uploading them.

I am using photobucket, but it is really slow uploading to them. Anyway, here are a couple more.

Side shot.

Size difference of original rears, and ZR-1 rears.

I bought these wheels online (ebay) already restored, they did a really nice job on them.

Nice side by side of the Typhoon stock vs. ZR-1 rear wheels. I haven't seen them side by side like that. I knew the Vette wheels were far and away wider but have never seen a comparison of the two. Thanks for posting up more pics......:tup:

How come those wheels IMO look like poop on vettes, but look good on our trucks?

Nice rims BTW, i am a bit partial to the 92 version but I like those also.

Agreed. There are a few style vette rims that I consider to be a better fit for our trucks than on the vettes.

What is weird for me is that I love those on my Sy, but think they look not so good on my Ty. I like the 92 ZR1s in Tys better. Speaking of which, I am looking for a set...
