Are there enough guys total (SyTy and others) to make the track rental happen?

For guys on the fence, I think this will be a pretty good opportunity to get some tuning time in. Yes, it's not at the usual altitude most people will be running at, but the techniques you use/learn will be the same everywhere.

It'll also be a good opportunity to hit areas of the VE map that most of us never see.

whats the cost for spectating on that day? do we have to get a total of 40 people to have the track day? The site says only max of 80.

Correct! Spectating is Free for anyone. You don't even have to be a part of our group.

I believe, if we don't have the 40 racers needed, we have to come up with the difference in cash for the track rental fee, though I'm not 100% positive we can race with fewer than 40. 40 racers and their fees pay for track rental.

Shawn and I are working this together and there is no profit made. It's simply enough to cover the track rental. :tup:

I'll shoot a message to Shawn and he can chime in here on racing without 40.

Yep, Pat Mahoney is helping out getting some more local racers. We should be okay. I just need about 10 more to make the minimum of 40. I just got paid by another SyTy member tonight. Nick R.

Thanks again guys for pre-paying!

One more thing. We should have some sponsorship which is working out to $10 cash back at the gate to each racer.

Are we going to get 40 racers? I am thinking of running my SRT-4 also. Trying to find someone to drive it up to Bandimere.
