Question for those running alky/methanol injection

There are a few thing that determine how much alky you will use. Your alky turn on point, pump speed, nozzle size. If you set your setting low like I have mine around 5 PSI you will use alot more. Since 99% of the time i take off from a stop I am over 5 PSI. I also put in a bigger nozzle and have the pump speed all the way up. I am using the SMC alky kit. I would say i could get about 10 runs at the track on one tank of alky. I think the SMC alky tank is about 1/2 gallon. For me there is no normal driving. About 90% of the time I drive my truck i am doing DM recording to tune in AFR or work on some new like my new boost contoller. So I can run through 1 gallon of alky in about 3 days of tuning and driving. So just figure out about how many times you get on your truck per tank of gas and how long you stay on it. I say i use close to 1 gallon of alky per tank of gas. I am sure most people dont use this much.

I'm running a homemade kit with an M10 nozzle, turn on point is around 8-10 psi. I'm still really enjoying the benefits of the alky, so I might be using it more than normal, but I can go through up to 2 gallons of a water/alky mix in one tank of gas.

Julio PM'd me back and said that he can use up a 110 oz. per tank which is about 85% of a gallon. So, I think I can plan on using somewhere around a gallon per tank.
At $2.25/gal that's still considerably less than I would pay for race gas. In northern Colorado the cheapest source for unleaded race gas is just under $6/gal so it's pretty spendy. This will be a cheap alternative in comparison for me.
