Problem with Wastegate?

After spending some good quality time with my truck over the past few weeks I finally got most of the bugs worked out and it is running strong. However, I seem to be having a problem with my wastegate. It’s a Turbonetics Deltagate mounted on the crossover tube. Before I installed the new engine the wastegate would hold a solid 10psi base pressure. Now it spikes to 15psi and doesn't seem like it wants to stop. I took a peak at it today and the valve doesn't seem to be stuck. I was able to pry it open with screwdriver.

I know there are a hundred things that could be causing the problem, but I'm out of ideas. Anyone got any suggestions? How can I test the wastegate on the bench? Vacuum pump? Air compressor? What should I be looking for? It’s a pretty simple principal so I'm not sure why it isn't working.

yes. if you can regulate 10psi you should be able to test it.

have you considered that the new motor is stronger and is putting more air through the system and the gate cant keep up?

also have you opened up the exhaust any? thereby makin it harder to control..
