Predicting a 9 sec run in Colorado this weekend

I will go out on a limb and say I believe there is going to be a 9 second Syclone this weekend............ The Sy is from colorado and is V6.... so i'll keep you posted.. I've seen it in person and it's pretty impressive......

Yeah I saw Jason's Twin Turbo run up there.... Great run......
But I believe this thing will run 9's easy, yes at Bandimere and he's still running a V6... It's going to be sunday and it's going to be at Truckfest.....

Lets see it happen. Ho owns the truck it will take alot of power to do it in Denver is it allwheel drive is it a V6??? one Turbo or two is the Truck from denver is it SY or TY

I had my new TiAL wastegate overnighted and recevied it yesterday so I should have the truck all back together (new HKS EVC, TiAL & widder gapped plugs) tonight and might have to come down tomorrow and check this out. I wasn't even aware it was going on. Anyone have any more info? I'll just check over at Bandimere's website.

I can't make it. I really want to, but I have to get this damn engine back in the Omni so I keep the miles of the Sy :D . Can those attending please fo a giant favor for me/Amy? She is out of town this weekend, and she was wanting me to keep an eye out for her Ty up there (you never know). Here is the link.

Sorry for the thread jack, I think a Sy running 9's at 5280' would be sweet. Wish I could be there, good luck, and get it on vid!

If they can tune it should be fast and everything stays togeather with no parts braking Takes alot of power to go 9s on the Mountain. I am still shooting for the high 10s its hard lot of week link in these trucks went through 2 transmissions 3 frontends 4 T-cases. I am shure i would have done it long ago if it wasnt allwheel drive. But its fun on the street. Look like that might be a Bowtie block with Brodix heads maybe a oddfire. I wonder how many inches it is????????? Those are some big Turbos i am shure there is no A/C any longer It is a Race Syclone Truck now. I no John makes alot of his own thinges. I wouldnt doute if he built the intake and some other thinks. Very nice work looks go keep up the good work. I guess i will see it run Sunday at Bandimere i will be up there with some of my friends that have Lightnings do to braking the front Diff a couple weeks before these event.

Considering that's an entire mile in 9 seconds I would say that is pretty nuts.

Twin T61's and pretty much everyting you see that's fabricated he did himself. When I saw it last the intakes weren't yet complete so it was just running on engine power. I can't wait to see this thing in action. Tomorrow should be fun.

I won't be making Bandimere tomorrow. Had some issues tonight trying to sort this out so I'm tapping out. I'm still planning on the 3rd so see if you can take the afternoon off if any of you want to meet up.

well I saw it run today and it was impressive.. It's missed 9's when I was there, but if some simple things are fixed, he will be in 9's pretty easy... I missed the first run but I was told that he ran a 10.9.. I did however see his second run. He built no boost on the line and when he did launch he was everywhere.. He eventually made it go straight and it was gone.. He ran a 10.1 without a problem, but there is so much more there. He has no roll bar, and I don't know if he strengthen the fram at all.......

It was fun and I saw a few nice Ty's and a couple nice Sy's.. But by far I have to admit that Abe's Ty is one of the nicest I have see.. The paint really looks good, and he's done a hell of a job building it...
