Power windows

Don't know if I should post here or not so move it if need be. Anyway, is there anywhere to get upgraded window moters that are quieter and faster than the stockers. Both of my trucks have one weak motor and figure I better look into this over the winter. Thanks.

I doubt it, I just replaced mine with Dorman from autozone lifetime warranty

They'll be faster than the stock motors, but not any quieter.

I believe the syty motors are the same as a gn ,

Make sure before replacing your window motors, or when changing them to check the track that attaches to the bottom of the glass....mine was totally caked with old crusty grease, the nylon roller at the end of the window regulator could not even turn. I found this while replacing my motors....and both the old ones were good, they were just loud and slow due to the roller not being free. Cleaned out the crusty old grease, cleaned off roller and put fresh grease in the track, and worked like new again.:tup:
