as everyone might not know this truck has gone through alot in its life. as far as i know at one point it diddnt run or have a trans. there used to be a thread somwhere about the guy who was selling it at one time. loser seller, wouldnt answer questions about it. i have the old pics from the old post when that guy owned the truck which are here.

some people might remember this ty by the funky seat. i found all this info and pics of the truck after i bought it, and i found out that the turbo was shot, it had wrong pistons in. and it was filthy. but had new coat of paint on it (good paint job). the truck switched hands alot durring this time, and had alot of time and money put into it. i bought it this past summer. spun a bearring and then put in a NEW ty motor (still was in original crate) and re did the stock heads, new roller lifters, johnson pump, reverse glo gauge, walboro 255, heater core, manual boost controller, custom chip, 3bar, afpr, cone air filter set up, swapped turbo for a used stock replacement. new ignition, ur5's. tranny was rebuild, and shifts hard like its suposed to. muffler delete. most of the work was cosmetic and mods to make it run better. still having minor knock issues, but other than that the truck runs great. future mods: downpipe with t44. swaybar, 2 inch drop, 2 inch cowl hood, silver zr1 rims, clear lenses all around..... so here is what the saved ty pics look like, enjoy!!!!

Cool.I KNOW those rims are pissing you off sticking out in the front (I tried them on mine once) but at least the Ty has someone who can bring it back to it's former glory.
You get it cheap?
And get that seat fixed dammit.

nope the rims dont stick out, because the fronts are off a camaro, and the rears of a s-10. they are even :)

i know i know!the seat need 2 be fixed, i just wanted to get in running good first. i payed 9800. it has 78000 on it now. 2000 mi on new motor.

COOL,didn't know that.I put the 96 S10 SS rims on my Ty and the fronts looked stupid.

Nice truck,hope it does you right....

What's the puddle of oil from under the front end?? J/K, looks real nice. Kudo's to you for saving a very rare color......like 1 of three if I remember correctly :).
