Pictures of Baer Brakes

I need some motivation.

I know most people use the c5 brakes and haven't seen any pictures of the kit installed.

I have a front 13" baer brake kit and a rear 12" kit that has been sitting in my garage for close to 3 years.

Anyone have any pictures of the kit installed on their Ty or Sy? I'm hoping it will motivate me to install my kit.

Holy crap. its a 2 hr install if your slow and have seized bolts. Throw that crap on and enjoy better braking. Yes, they will look great, just bolt them on already.

Did everyone remove the ABS with the Baer kit?? I think my kit is suppose to work with the ABS?

I've read up on the forum and it seems the consensus is to ditch the ABS.

Ditch it i say. it is a poor design and fails frequently. i am waiting for an abs kit too.

2 hours my ass, have the pin break in the rear diff, then have to remove, make and replace both your rotted brake lines, drive to go get parts and your at 5 hours like it took me. Either way it was worth it, Here's a crappy cell phone pic.

Oh, i thought you were just doing the fronts. they took me 3 hrs but i polished my spindles and sent them out for powder coat. the rears were easy with a sawzall and they only took me 1.5 hrs. but i already had the truck on jack stands :roll: and wheels off. Yours look sweet though.

all those brakes look nice, now i just need the funds to upgrade my truck. also beside ditching the ABS do you switch over to hydro boost with the larger brakes?

^ start with the abs delete first. it makes a huge difference and if you need more stopping power go to c5 corvette or ls1 brakes and if you need more braking do hydro-boost last.
