Re: Perhaps the Best Use of a Syclone...

lol. We used ours as a place to store 4 solid-oak doors for a week, bottomed out the suspension, but its back up to height now:tup:

Not bad. I've hauled many pinball machines in mine...the ride height makes them very easy to load and unload.

Heh, here's mine when it was off the road for two plus years:

After I put my fiberglass cap on, it was great storage for some of the excess stuff in the garage.

And here's a truck that isn't mine:

After experiencing the convenience of using a hard top tonneau cover as a work bench, I have seriously considered getting one for my truck. The truck above has been in service as a work bench all year long and "yes" it runs fine...

Happy holidays to everyone too !

I know of a shop to the north of me that used to run deliveries of auto parts all over the place with 2 syclones. What a waste

Nope. I cropped the pic on the bottom so that the plate wouldn't be visable. He doesn't even live in the same state as I do. With regards to the "sticker", I have the same magnet that he does. We both got them in a round about way from "Performin' Norman" back in the day. Besides, my truck doesn't have a rear slider window or else I couldn't have this on the back:

I guess I belong to club also. This picture is old and actually doesn't show what is really laying on, and around the ty.

When I got back from Michigan, I found all sorts of crap in the back of the Ty. A snow brush, a booster seat, and fishing rods sitting on the roof :squint:

That's an awful good one. I think I can come up with a better use though; just don't think those kind of pictures are allowed on here. :boink:

ahhhh yes, too many times has the bedrug come in handy ;)

the bed also doubles as a coffin.... i scared the hell outta some little kids in my gf's neighborhood... i was sleeping in the bed with the tonneau cover down, and these kids woke me up screamin and playing in the street... so i gave the tonneau cover a push and once it gets to certain point it kinda opens on its own... once it was all the way up the kids stopped playing and i just sat up slowly with my eyes closed and then opened my eyes and stared at the kids with a crazy look on my face. they screamed and took off runnin down the street

Not a Sy, and perhaps not the best use, but a use that many of us have run across owning these trucks.

haha thats awesome. what kinda tonneau cover is that?

It's a Checkmate that I ordered online here . I've had it for several years with no issues. I recommend the quick-disconnect hinges; they're especially handy if you haul oversized loads on a regular basis.
