Campbell Automotive vs. Rockford Racecraft vs ???
In purchasing a pro-built engine (supplied & installed) who would be the best choice?
I am in Canada but have had good dealings with Rockford for all my bolt on performance parts.

Re: Performance engines (Sy/Ty engine combos)

Last winter Mark and Nolan built me a engine for my GN. 616Hp and 700Ftlbs. I just bought a Sy and will be dropping off that engine this fall. A good bunch of people very helpfull and approachable. Greg

I'm going with John Waller for my engine build, and will be installing it locally. So far, dealing with John has been a breeze :)

Location and reputation is one of the best reason to choose a engine builder. I am familiar with both of them and if i had a place that was close to me i would choose them as they are both excellent shops and i would feel comfortable giving both of them my money.

As far as parts for the build are concerened as long as your not building a billet bowtie stroker motor then you can go with Cambell as GM has discontinued the V6 program and they no longer have any blocks. I am going to try to buy the last 2 sportmans blocks on Monday.

If you need parts - shoot me an e-mail and i will do my best to help you locate them.

all seems GM wasn't to picky

So far the 051 is Disc, there are a few sportsman blocks and some aluminum blocks. From what i've been told once they are gone they will be gone.

I dont think you will regret working with Campbell. Nolan is the bomb. Turbotime and JS Manufacturing hooked me up. No complaints there.

I keep seeing daron post here, I am starting to think he is going to want his truck back when he gets back into the US.

Damn, where did I put it. 4 trucks at my house is getting to be overkill.

But, Canadian guys support and advertise on the board and frequent here often. Being they are the closest to you, would be my choice.
