That PCV is designed to have a vacuum while you are in boost. You could go with a breather on the valve cover. With a breather you end up with a film on the valve cover that needs to be cleaned occasionally. Ring seal may not be quite as good without a PCV valve.

I wasn't too clear either. I was talking about putting a breather on the passenger side, also. Remember the stock PCV setup uses 2 valves. One works in boost (connected to the intake crossover). The other one works in vaccum (connected to the throttle body). Hooking to the A2A would not provide vacuum to the PCV under boost. Did that make sense?

I'm getting down to the short strokes on my rebuild, and about to put the PCV's on. Your info on the hookup of the 2 Pass side will certainly help. My stockers are shot after ~ 100K - no surprise. I don't know if they are specials or not - I see a CV799 # on them. Hopefully they R available at the chain AP stores.
My major question is on the drivers side. Amazingly, there's no info on the PCV's in the shop manual. What goes in this drivers side valve cover hole ?

Just went to the AP stores. Pep Boys didn't have the PCV, O'Reillys' didn't have it, but AZ had one they said substituted - the Deutsch PCV227. Seems to fit anyway.
I checked the drivers side VC hole. Ur right, it looks like the air inlet hooks in there. The hole size seems like it might fit another PCV. Not sure if we want 3 PCV's, do we ? It would seem like we need one of the holes where the crankcase could breath freely w/o a valve inhibiting it.
Those breathers w a very small hole (3/4") are hard to find. I always like the kind that has a side outlet where U can run a hose off it down to the bottom of the engine block to get rid of the oil fumes.=
