Passing CA smog with Vortecs

Has any one passed CA Smog check with Vortec heads and the Comp 412 cam? I know that the EGR test will fail but I am worried about the numbers. I think that I can fool the tech on the EGR by venting it to the outside.

I passed with 40 lb injectors , KB cam , KB heads.... just set the idle high...like just under 1000 rpm... put a brand new cat on the car before the test - and be done with it...

Get it hot before the test - 190 thermostat...and it should go.... 87 octane fuel....

All the stuff together shouldnt have too many problems

ok I just didnt want to put the vortecs on and have take them right back off. I got a test only so I am hoping that it will fly trough with out to many problems

I failed miserably last time until I set my fp at 26lbs.I did it at home w/ DM and ran idle up to 2200 rpm and it wasn't to lean, just don't put any load on it. I set it back to my normal 48lbs and took a "spirited" drive w/a 195 thermo in it. Hot as hell I pulled up to the smog place after lowering my FP back to 26 around the corner. Guy said it was the cleanest vehicle in the last week. And I know I need a new cat.
