Check this video out about 2:30 min. into it, this guy says his intials are either on the TTA intake or the Syclone, he's not sure. Anybody have one lying around and can confirm his initials "RHS" are there in the bottom.

Almost sounds like he was involved in the design of Syclone intake????

Re: PAS Employee

If the TTA really made 300 HP why did GM rate it at "only" 250 HP?

The generally accepted explanation is GM's unwritten rule which states no passenger vehicle shall have a higher horsepower rating than that year's Corvette.

In 1989 the Corvette was rated at 255 HP

The Corvettte was rated at 245hp in 1989. The GN/Turbo Regal was rated higher than the Corvette in 86 and 87 as well. GNX was rated higher as well (276hp) Note: Mid 86 the Corvette got a hp increase from aluminum heads that brought it even with the 86 GN/turbo Regal.

TTA ratings were closer to 300hp, GN 275hp.

Re: PAS Employee

A while back I had read that the actual dyno number was 301 hp. They also had a more efficient intercooler, higher ratio rockers, and ran higher boost (16.5 psi IIRC) among other things.
