Ordering Ostrich need help

I knwo Im getting the O, but when It comes to adapters, should I get the G3? I like the idea of switching programs. Or should I just get the G1? I eventually want to burn my own chips so which one would be better for this?

the "switching" function will not work with the Ostrich but, will work when you start burning your own chips. i have both, and like the G1 for simplicity but, the G3 will be better when i have mulitple tunes to switch between

Don't order one... You'll be getting one once your Ultimate comes back....

You should, in theory, be able to use the Ultimate box to switch between different bins on the ostrich. I haven't tried the setup that way, but it should work.

In tunerpro you can load several chips to the 9 banks. You can switch between them, although it must be done via laptop.

Turn on bank switching on the toolbar in tunerpro.

Don't order one... You'll be getting one once your Ultimate comes back....

You should, in theory, be able to use the Ultimate box to switch between different bins on the ostrich. I haven't tried the setup that way, but it should work.

So I should get the G1 then. Noone replied so I alredy ordered the G3 but they were out of the O so maybe Ill cancel my order and see if I can get it elsewhere. Im getting impatienthere, want to start this tuning journey.

buy the nvram board module and use it for adaptor. It might come in handy later anyways.

nothing wrong with having a G3. it will function as a G1.

buy an NVSRAM module also.

I just ordered the Ostrich from Detroiut turbo since it was on back order at Moates and also got the GP1 kit. I guess after I get it all and play around with Ill get the other stuff you guys just said. Wish I had more time to wait on the helpful posts but Im rushing myselfhere and want this crap by the end of the week. Im sure Ill regret it but Ill get it all going here soon. As long as I can start out and just get into it ill be happy. Atleast for a little while.
